Lomi-lomi y la vida
En 2014 me topé con el Hawaiian Journey, un festival de donantes y receptores de Lomi-lomi en un castillo restaurado alrededor de su patio central en el este de Austria. Al entrar en el espacio mientras pisoteaba las piedras bajo el oscuro doble arco, pulido suavemente por años de idas y venidas, me sentí como en una burbuja mágica al salir a la luz. Personas de pie y sentadas de dos en tres conversando calurosamente, la música resonando orgullosamente a través de las ventanas abiertas del gran salón de arriba, un bebé durmiendo en los brazos de su madre.
Pero sobre todo, sentí un profundo y rotundo amor que solo puedo describir como un guiso gigante, que se agita poderosa y fácilmente entre cada persona en el patio e irradia desde allí. Y me sentí inmediatamente parte de ello. Sorprendentemente, me dieron el bebé para que lo llevara durante unas dos horas y, a mi regreso, lo supe: tenía que obtener más de esto, mucho más.
Me inscribí en la capacitación y he regresado a la 'Escuela del Castillo' dos veces al año. He recibido mucho de ese guiso, y contribuye a todo lo que hago, en la vida y en dar Lomi-lomi. Para ver mi historia completa de entrenamientos con varios maestros de todo el mundo, haga clic aquí.
¿Por qué hago Lomi-lomi?
Me encanta conectar a las personas con su energía interior, brindarles positividad y alegría, abrirlas a las posibilidades en su vida. En mi experiencia, no hay nada más que se acerque a esta práctica en su efecto inmediato. Me encanta dar un paso atrás al final de una sesión y experimentar que mis clientes abren los ojos como si fuera la primera vez.
Lomi-lomi and Life
In 2014 I stumbled upon the Hawaiian Journey, a festival of Lomi-lomi givers and receivers at a restored castle around its central courtyard far in the east of Austria. Upon entering the space as I trod on the stones under the dark double archway, polished smooth by years of comings and goings, I felt myself as if in a magical bubble upon coming out into the light. People standing and sitting in twos and threes conversing warmly, music proudly echoing through the open windows of the great hall above, a baby sleeping in its mother's arms.
But mostly I just felt a deep resounding love I can only describe as a giant stew, stirring powerfully and easily between every person in the courtyard and radiating out from there. And I felt immediately a part of it. Amazingly, I was given the baby to carry for some two hours and upon my return I knew -- I had to get more of this, lots more.
I enrolled in the training and have been going back to the 'Castle School' twice-yearly. I have received plenty of that stew, and it contributes to everything I do, in life and in giving Lomi-lomi.To see my complete history of trainings with various teachers around the world, click here.
Why do I do Lomi-lomi?
I love to connect people with their inner energy, bring them positivity and joy, open them up to possibilities in their life. In my experience there is nothing else that even approaches this practice in its immediate effect. I love to stand back at the end of a session and experience my clients opening their eyes as if for the first time.
